Your Visit
The House: guided tour only, led by one of our guides, about 45 minutes.
The last tour (5:15 pm) is shorter and doesn’t allow you to fully enjoy the temporary exhibition.
Temporary exhibitions: self-guided, following the guided tour of the House.
The garden: self-guided. Picnics are welcome (conditions available at reception).

For groups of more than 20, we divide you into several tours so the House never feels crowded. Please write to us at reservation@maisonjeancocteau.com to plan your visit.

Getting to Milly-la-Forêt

A6 towards Lyon or Paris, exit no. 13 Milly-la-Forêt.
By train from Paris

Gare de Lyon → RER D towards Malesherbes → Maisse station, then an on-demand minibus to Milly-la-Forêt (book via the “TàD Île-de-France Mobilités” app, at reservation-tad.idfmobilites.fr, or on +33 9 70 80 96 63). Navigo pass accepted.

Accessibility

Arriving: the Maison sits at the end of a cobbled cul-de-sac. Parking in front of the door is not permitted (fire service access), but drop-off is possible. Car parks are close by, notably next to the church (200 m away).

Inside: the ground floor and first floor are accessible to visitors with reduced mobility. The second floor is not. A booklet presenting the rooms is available as an alternative. Accessible toilets are provided. Pushchairs are not allowed inside.

The garden: paths are packed earth and grouted cobblestones.

Guided support: our guides accompany visitors with reduced mobility, or with a visual or cognitive disability. Please get in touch ahead of your visit so we can prepare it with you.

Animals: not permitted, except assistance dogs.
